on all the output of labor, based on their own arbitrary rules. The citizen gets what is left over after government has their feed at the table.

If there is supposed to be an income tax, let no person be exempt. If it is such a good thing, it should apply to every citizen regardless of total income. After all, we're all in it for the "common good" I've heard.
