Many of those states are in a completely different situation. FOr instance, Alaska has tons of oil revenue, and not that many residents. Missouri doesn't have the oil revenue. Florida is known for having one of the most regressive tax systems in the nation. I'm fine with lowering taxes, or eliminating them, but its just a con unless you tell people how you will do it (higher other taxes, eliminate most spending, etc). Without details its like saying you are for mom and apple pie.
