have to offset the interest with lower costs, but I have no idea how they price. More on what you are paying versus the actual cost of the solar panels.
Mine was to keep my electrical prices the same assuming I took the government rebate and applied it to the principle, which I did not do, so after a year, my payment went up a bit, which is fine at that interest rate. I can pay the loan off when I sell the house (or in 30 years).
I build a nice credit in the summer, and run out of the credit in February or so, but I definitely pay for all of the electrical costs (the credits go towards the other parts of the bill which runs out the money).
And considering they are looking to hike rates 25% over the next two years, I am hedged against that inflation.
