unsecured, soft credit pull, and approval within minutes. Then it went to 1.59%. Even at that, the savings were covering the payment. Now, no way.
Had a buddy who would've qualified for the 1.59.% System would've been around $42,000 and his wife threw a fit. Of course, she didn't throw a fit for her new SUV that decreases in value daily. 2 years later he asks me what rates are, which is was nearing 6.% Told him and he said "that doesn't make much financial sense." I said "yep, you should've jumped on the 1.59%," at which he replied "yeah probably should've. Well maybe the government will do something to make it affordable."
Sure buddy, that's going to happen. Meanwhile, enjoy your $600 heating bills.
