Flights, hotels, meals etc. way too expensive for anyone that had any sense. I did say if they had a one-hour online discussion I would attend it (which we already have in some format every year as it is snuck into other forms)

I flat out stood my ground that I treat people fairly and based on their performance and won't be attending even though I was told about every 6 months for almost 3 years when they held the training.

I believe the forced indoctrination is now over
