had crested. Good to see it now in full retreat. Even many dems are now finally standing up to the attempted forced advocacy and nonsense.

I created a bit of a stir several years ago when asked while participating in a panel discussion how I "showed my pride" in reference pride month. Others gave the popular answer. I simply responded I treat all the same. While they are free to share with me details of their lives as they desire, I treat them all with the respect they earn and I make decisions about their careers based on the value they bring and manner in which they do it. And no factors of how they look, what else they believe, or who they choose to have a relationship with would impact that. Some did not like my answer as it was not open advocacy. There was some very light applause. In the coming days, several other leaders from the meeting thanked me for the response. I now see that type of common sense being openly spoken more and more, and we will all be better for it.
