point guard this team has. Unfortunately, he is a freshmen and is going to make mistakes trying to be a playmaker. I’m not sayin he should start but he is the only guy who has the ability to get passed his defender and penetrate the lane and open up others for layups or open threes, and as he showed in the Florida game, he is one of the better on ball defenders who can stop another guard from consistently driving into the lane and causing havoc.

Gates needs less 6’4 6’6 type guys in this next class and more pure ball handler, points.
