I would say that wrestling, gymnastics, softball and volleyball have had the best coaches. Ironic that they are all non-revenue sports and have accomplished more, and been more consistent, than the revenue sports.

Wrestling has a 3rd-place national finish. Gymnastics has a 5th-place national finish. Volleyball has an Elite Eight. Softball has been to a couple of CWS under coach EE.

The disappointing thing is that none of those teams has come close to matching or surpassing those performances. Maybe that's the best we can ever hope to expect.
