So are dozens, possibly hundreds, of other people who actually have the experience, judgment, and qualifications to lead an organization of 3.3 million employees and an $850 billion budget. Unfortunately, though Hegseth is right on the issues you raise, he does not have the qualifications necessary to manage the most complex, and most critical, organization within our federal government. The largest organization he ever managed is a platoon of 30 soldiers. Though ideologically correct in most respects, he is woefully unqualified to lead the Department of Defense.
