I’m ok with setting standards but then the scrutiny

of those standards must be done. Who is setting those standards, what is their ultimate objective, and are they making it nearly impossible for women to meet them? In response to that, are we adjusting/lowering those standards to meet social objectives?

We agree on setting standards but who sets them and the objectives for those standards are the problem.
