There are multiple lines of evidence, not just a bad few years of storms or absence of storms or a year hotter than normal or a year colder than normal.
Man made climate change in itself is a somewhat inaccurate claim. Climate changes anyway. Man made climate change is too simplistic and hints that the climate wouldn’t change if it weren’t for human activity. Human activity is accelerating climate change, potentially out of the Quaternary ice age.
