You want to have no only an enthusiastic fan base actively but passive alumni as well. In other words if you've got 500k fans and 90% of them donate, that's better than having 800k and only 60% of them donate.

As an AD and a program you really need to up your donor percentages if you wanna stay competitive. Just raising prices and all won't sustain a program.

Part of upping active donors is keeping them happy with wins and championships.
