Tech always displaces (some) current labor. Tech is just moving so fast that labor may get displaced within a generation instead of over 1 or 2 --- b/c of the increased pace you mentioned.

this isn't an "indian labor" issue; it's a constant changing of what's cutting edge and what's "maintenance".
