Mizzou has no shot at winning the title

in the CFP era. That's just reality. The talent just isn't there to win 3-4 games against the level of talent it takes to win, and it wasn't there to win 2 games when it was only 4 teams. Mizzou's best shot was the BCS where only winning one game was required, and it still wasn't a great chance. That could happen, but not 3-4 games in a row, and we're not even talking about also having to win the SEC Championship game.

In theory, Mizzou could acquire the talent needed, but that's not the reality right now, and won't be for a long time. Just another reason why I hate the CFP and think it sucks. It guarantees only the most elite of the elite have any chance to win.

Good post. I got roasted on here for saying the same thing when the 12 team CFP was proposed, but reality can be hard to accept for some.
