But questions are this. Were they intentionally wrong, or should they have had reason to believe so, and in publishing that would it have had impact on the race?
I don't believe the answer is yes to either. It was reckless as they needed to confirm, but it was a very close race and did not have the ability to impact the race itself based on the timing of publication.
