Said I don’t think she would have gotten many innings here because of a numbers game, there are just too many pitchers in front of her.
That’s assuming Touchet has passed her in the hierarchy , which may or may not be true.
Losing the 5th or 6th best pitcher on your team isn’t likely to have a great impact on your season, which is also what I said. Unless you think your 4 best pitchers are going to routinely get hammered and we need to go to #5 or #6 on a regular basis. Which I certainly hope is not the case.
Maybe we end up with a pitching by committee situation, which is not necessarily bad or good, and we need to go 5 or 6 pitchers deep. But I certainly don’t hope so.
