She proved last year against great competition what she’s capable of, so in that sense not real worried about her. And its tougher to evaluate the significant of fall results because of the competition level, although this year adding in teams like Mo State, Kansas and Illinois raised that level over past fall seasons.
Having said all that, Pannell did not look sharp this fall. Periods of wildness, and she got hit hard in several outings. She seemed…unfocused maybe? Like she was thinking she could just throw it up there hard and fool batters? Just speculating, but she clearly wasn’t herself.
