is caught paying under the table. That is why the NFL salary cap works. If an NFL team is caught circumventing the cap by paying players via other avenues then they suffer massive penalties like losing multiple draft picks, post season bans, etc...

They would have to implement massive penalties...like being ineligible to participate in post season play, death penalty for years, etc...
