The comment and source itself isn't really important at all. I just thought that part was rather profound.

And if you understood polling, you would understand they are 100% used as a promotional tool. You can tell if you understand the underlying assumptions that exist in every poll. A poll truly designed to get an accurate "horserace" reading of the status an election would look very different.
