Gateway to the west up until STL petitioned the gov to build the monument.

There were businesses that had gateway in their names because of it. Gateway bank, gateway sports etc.

Everyone my father's age bought their sports equipment in HS from gateway sports.

The fact you bring up how was "Kansas considered the gateway" kind of proves the point. KCMO was the gateway to the west which started in Kansas.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
