but January 6th was not an outrageous example of how unfit Trump is to serve?
Also, the idea that the country is in a terrible place is applesauce.
Just with any President, the beating heart of America is the economy and sure, we have inflation but Presidents don't control that (although the Fed can help remedy it). The American economy runs on its own. Gas prices, food price and so on are determined by market forces. Same with the stock market.
On the other hand, Biden has accomplished: Inflation Reduction Act, CHIPS Act, Infrastructure.
These are all laws that help set up the US to be more competitive internationally with trade (CHIPS Act, IRA) and more efficient (Infrastructure). These things can help the economy at large, over time.
We're done with Afghanistan, something three Presidents bailed on finishing.
And America, compared to the rest of the world, is dominating economically. More importantly, steps have been taken under Biden to make America more competitive in the future.
It's not perfect, but if you're seeking perfect economic conditions, you'd be frustrated all the time.
Compare this to Trump's dystopian explanation of modern America. It's simply scare tactics.
