he did what he was recruited to do and when he missed he did not keep throwing them up.
You could argue that if he had played more minutes, he would have had more attempts and that is logical. But it's also possible that if he had played more, he'd have gotten some rhythm and made more.
The kid is a 3 point shooter. That's what he is and what he was recruited to do. Some of you need to get past the old days of tall guys don't shoot. They're going to keep working with him to find his range in the college game. If he does, he'll play a lot. If he doesn't, he probably won't be on the team a year from now.
