First. They would prefer there were no sports on campus. They are academic types. They will let the NCAA govern sports until it is a problem for them and the state. I am saying the obvious the control the NCAA, not the reverse.
Their main concern now is lawsuits. You don't contradict the Supreme. Sports will continue. We can watch, or go watch re-runs of I Love Lucy. BTW, No on a parallel version of the NCAA, That can't happen. It probably will change some, but only with the approval of the presidents.
