He's recruited at a level no other UK HFC has. The last 7-8 yrs the Cats have been more consistently competitive for a longer period of time than any other coach in my 49 yrs. Those are all positives.

He is stupidly conservative on offense and game management situations. His clock management is atrocious. He pays zero attention to analytics situationally. Needs a nerd on staff. Won't get out of the way of the OC/makes bad OC hires. Current OC was a Drink castoff. Cohen was solid, but Stoops wouldn't get out of his way. Slowest team in the country every year. Scangarello was an awful hire, but at least he remedied that by firing him. Gran wanted to play faster so he fired him.

He's one of the highest paid coaches in the country. Not my money, so I don't care. For that coin, they could PROBABLY do better. But the devil you know...
