That probably will not benefit Mizzou who I think is currently benefitting under the "Wild West" NIL system in place, where boundaries are stretched and rules are not bright and somewhat murky but the sport needs an equal playing field.
I will say that as a Mizzou fan I do like that it has somewhat turned the sport on its head. Teams like Mizzou who may not be blue bloods but who have a deep bench of donors in a state with two major cities and where they are the only major program in the state derive a huge advantage under this new system.
Teams like Auburn where the bench of donors may not be as deep and they run second fiddle to Bama even in a football crazed state are a bit disadvantaged.
