2nd week in a row. If the committee has similar views at the end of the year, I would think that we would have 6 teams. Of course those rankings are going to change, but it wouldn't surprise me if we had 4 or 5 teams. They would take the auto qualifiers and then pick the best teams after that to fill out their brackets. Probably one or two who wouldn't normally be in the top 12 would be auto qualifiers, so about the top 10 or 11 teams in their rankings would go.
If it was today & the committee's rankings matched those of the AP it would be:
seed rank conference team
1 #1 SEC Texas
2 #3 B1G Ohio State
3 #8 ACC Miami (FL)
4 #12 Big 12 Utah
5 #2 SEC Georgia
6 #4 SEC Alabama
7 #5 SEC Ole Miss
8 #6 SEC Tennessee
9 #7 SEC Missouri
10 #9 B1G Oregon
11 #10 B1G Penn State
12 #23 MAC Northern Illinois
