I would argue the reasons for that are a worsening education system in which we no longer teach history and civics. Our young people don’t know how are government works and most importantly, why it was setup that way. On top of that, we no longer value core curriculum and achievement and allow far too many people to graduate high school without meeting core educational standards. So the public is dumb in other words and lacks critical thinking skills.

The other reason we have crap candidates is that we don’t have a press that holds candidates accountable for their “promises” and results. They have become a propaganda machine for one party and thus they feed an already dumb society with equally dumb information. And yes, I know the right has their propaganda machines as well.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
