Alternator for my 280Z didn't grow on trees

so it was pull the alternator and take it to a shop which replaced the windings.
But with that in-line 6 cylinder engine I got to be a wizard at getting that alternator removed and back in.
Had one go out in our Corolla and I went to Frog's to get one which they had pulled and on the shelf. Said it was the same. Got home and it was slightly different in the housing but the guts were the same. Split the case and swapped the coils and integrated regulator and was back up and running.
