In regards to my post.
I don’t follow high school recruiting or travel ball much at all. Agree the various recruiting rankings can be inconsistent, and not always a great predictor of success at the college level, with some exceptions of course. I just noticed Hill seemed to be the only one in the freshman class that was rated very highly.
My unscientific method is looking at a ranking, plus, I liked it when the write ups of the incoming freshmen included what other schools offered scholarships or had interest in the player. Unfortunately they don’t seem to do that now on the Mizzou website, not sure why. Always felt better about a recruit if several SEC and top 25 teams were also considered by the player.
