Two big events
Continued fallout from the housing crisis of the late 200s.
COVID and its responses.
But those have been the result of decades of various practices that built the various bubbles to be burst
- Over-reliance on China
- Over reaction to China and the trade wars
- China being the epicenter of COVID and their own draconian policies
Destruction and COVID constrained rebuild of basic manufacturing
Animal disease interrupting supply, with compounded trade war effects
Government climate policies such as the EU anti farming policies
Russia-Ukraine war and boycotts of Russian resources
Middle East conflict
Government money printing policies
Worldwide immigration policies not allowing willing employees and employers to find each other.
All of the above are all examples of governments run amuck and keeping people and companies from as free commerce as possible.
Whenever there is global conflict, things burst, and government responds by doing more, not less
