I think there should be two 8-team divisions

and you should play your 7 division opponents every year and should have a rotation of 2 teams from the other division.

I'm not worried about the fact that it would take a long time to play everyone in the SEC over time. This isn't a problem for me in the NFL that the Chiefs play the Panthers about once every 4 years, it's not going to bother me if Mizzou plays Mississippi State about once every 4 years.

I don't REALLY care how we split up the divisions, other than geography makes the most sense. So, SEC East and SEC West or SEC North and SEC South, whatever you want to do. Just divide it up and go.

When the SEC expands to 18, you expand each division equally (or move teams if you have to) and you keep playing all division opponents with rotation from the other division. If it means less and less non-con games, that's fine.
