First off, oil companies will only drill if the oil price is high enough to make money. If it's not, Trump can do all he wants and nobody will drill so his philosophy of perpetually cheap oil and drill, drill, drill isn't consistent with they history of an extremely cyclical industry.

Second, you will get your wish in time. I don't think the shale oil revolution has a lot of growth potential. It's going to be a while before we see significant decline but it's not in the distant future either.
