The better options would be to allow businesses and consumers to buy what product they want from and when.

I am ok with some sort of safety stuff that is true, and not disguised as trade barriers.

If some company in a far off land can produce a widget cheaper than a company in Michigan, what is the problem?

If a company is fine with hiring someone from Honduras, what is the problem?

If your company desires to have IT support from someone who speaks better English, should that decision be made from leaders within your company, with no interference with government?
