Spend a day in a courtroom.
Many, many criminal charges are brought with nothing more than a single witness.
Let’s say a traffic cop says you crossed the center line (a crime - “Failure to Maintain a Single Lane”) but there is no video. Are you saying the cop’s testimony is not enough to convict you?
Or say the cop says you pulled your hands away when he tried to cuff you (“Resisting Arrest”). No video or witnesses. Again are you saying that the cop’s testimony is not evidence and that you can’t be convicted?
Same analysis applies to lay witnesses.
