It is tough teaching in inner city schools but it can be done if you are not afraid of hard work and have a clue about what you are teaching. But I doubt you have it in you to do that.

My daughter is about to graduate from one of the more highly thought of districts in the metro. Her teachers have been horrible most of the time. Most refuse to return an email. In every one of those 'worst performing' schools where I have worked they demanded a 24 hr turn around on any contact made by a parent. Not answering was unacceptable. The coaching in that same district is laughable, if they did not have kids coming to them with years of club experience most of them would be lucky to win a game.
