and not to have discussed the buyout clause of her current contract is terrible business. Now the Gates contract makes sense if she doesn't have a better business head than that. Sounds like there is more to this and the curators have been taking a lot of heat over their new "oversight" role. Perhaps it was warranted, this is really starting to smell. Maybe she was going to be fired, but said, "i'll leave, I don't want being fired on my resume." Of course that's a paraphrase, but there is more to this I'm sure.
