attributing a single mindset to a large group of people.
However, I still use gay as an insult though I don't think being gay is wrong, bad or anything like that. In fact, the people I know that use "fag" or "gay" as an insult the most are gay themselves. So in that regard, my argument is with FMB thinking throwing around that as an insult is hypocritical behavior when used in the context of crazies that believe it to be a mental illness or a choice.
