String of bad decisions.

Our problems started when Norm failed to recruit off of the 94 season.
They got worse with Mike Alden failed to mentor Quin Snyder and instead decided to micromanage him.

Mike Anderson was never a solution, he was only a speedbump in the slide down.

Three more bad hires continued the fall.

All it takes is one good hire, and the slide can be stopped in two seasons and on the climb by three.
We do not yet know if Gates is that guy.
