And suggests, for example that a man who thinks he's a woman is actually a woman, trapped in a man's body, your response to that scenario would be something akin to, "I can see why you may feel that way, sir, or madam, but it seems in my opinion to run afoul of the basic scientific understanding of chromosomes and biology".
That's adorable of course ans oh so virtuous, but when you don't call a spade a spade, when you don't identify crazy as crazy, and when you pretend that people with outrageous and dangerous ideas are actually enlightened and worthy of discussion, you play the fool in elevating a fool to a position of respect.
