he never would have been as successful as an NFL cornerback if it hadn't been for Clay Cooper.
Said in his rookie year, at his first NFL camp, they were teaching CB's different technics and what to look for in anticipation of the play. Werhli said "Coach Cooper had already taught me all of those things."
High praise from an NFL Hall of Famer.
