going for at least another year. Otherwise, the program risks a huge setback via loss of defensive commits/transfers.

Pinkel was a good coach, but he was never able to *sustain* success following a breakout season. 2013/2014 was the closest he came, but that '14 team was a big dropoff. We need to avoid that, and retaining Baker is key – even if it's just for one or two more seasons.
