$1.1M was the non-salary compensation.
I would guess it went up at least $200k and probably closer to $400k with the extension.
His last buyout was the same as his comp for the year of the contract extension.
Meaning LSU would need to offer more than $1.6M in compensation and pay Mizzou $1.6M on top of the $5M they’re paying to outgoing staff. It’s not clear that they wouldn’t do that. But the longer the rumor persists, the more I’m inclined to think it’s a smokescreen.
