Neither of you have a real concept of what it would take

for a nation of 9 million people (Israel) to take on 2 million refugees during a time of war and also risking further infiltration by Hamas fighters who already cannot be distinguished from civilians. They simply do not have the manpower or the resources; particularly when they are dealing with a possible two front war. The same would extend to the West Bank. It would almost double the population of the West Bank overnight (current population 3 million).

For the same reasons, Egypt (although they ostensibly say otherwise), would have a difficult time with taking on that many refugees. They are a poor nation of 110 million people with much of their population living in a poverty not much better than Gaza Palestinians. What are thy going to do, set up an enormous tent city in the Sinai while Hamas and Israel fight it out?

And Hamas has directed the people of Gaza stay put. And many will follow that directive because they either support Hamas or simply do not want to leave their homes.
