But they are more the same than they are different, imo, at least in the context of this conversation.
1. create problem / convince folks there is a BIG problem
2. claim to possess the solution, the only source of the solution; cast all others claiming a solution to be evil, dangerous
3. bend your behavior to their will to receive the solution
