science. In one sentence you claim it is settled and in the next you admit that they continue to try to understand the details.

There are multiple theories about gravity, if it were settled there would be only one that all knowledgeable scientists agreed upon.

The absolute key to science is inquiry and the question 'what if?'. When you claim that anything is settled then there is no further need for questions. Settled and science can never be used in the same sentence.
