My wife is from the Philippines. Her relatives have still not recovered from what Japan did in WWII. They killed a million Filipinos. Her Father owned a business prior to the war. For the rest of his life he wandered the streets trying to make a living any way he could.

First thing they did when they arrived at her Mother's village was gather everybody together. Tie up some people. Put them in a house. Set the house on fire.

Only an idiot would portray Japan as a victim in WWII.
