I was doing data entry at a large corporation in my early 20's. I figured out how to send windows based pop up messages to other computers across the entire floor. So this woman we worked with was kind of the gullible type. I sent her a message that the computer was overheating and would explode in 10 seconds. Then sent a pop up for each countdown second. She scrambled and turned off the computer, unplugged it, and quickly wheeled her chair back in panic. Those of us who knew about it were watching from down the hall and losing it.
