I’m not so sure. could be that they do away with any expectation that they be students and are simply paid entertainers for alums, students and t-shirt fan. And if they want to take classes, they can pay for it. Perhaps they get a place to live, educational reimbursement and meal voucher as part of their contract, along with $50,000 a year. Of course begs the question of why limit eligibility if they are pure employees. Maybe MU can have a 45 yr old QB someday? Maybe Sophie comes back in her 30s and retires as a Tiger? Ha…but who knows where this all goes?
