That is not remotely close to as impressive to what Drink did. I don’t know if you simply didn’t know this or are being biased. But not close. Memphis isn’t some dumpster program.
Memphis had winning or very near .500 seasons in 2022,
2020, 2019, 2017, 2015, 2014, 2014, 2012, 2011.
KJ finished 6th last year going 10-14 in the AAC.
I’m glad he got paid and I’m pulling for him. That said, to say that he had a better resume than Drink is simply not true. His resume also wasn’t better than Biesler when we hired him. For the record I’m glad he got paid and think if Mizzou wants to raise expectations then you got to pay it first. IF KJ isn’t at least 10th 3 years from now. Fire him then pay 6th place SEC money.
