happen all the time. And I believe our AD is on the board of an organization that advocates for the hiring of minority coaches and giving them racial preference.
So when she hires a drastically unqualified minority to coach one of our teams, it raises questions.
And no... I never questioned the merits of hiring Mike Anderson, Frank Haith, or Cuonzo Martin... they all had relevant experience and qualifications for a major power-conference job.
Furthermore, I did question the merits of hiring alums in 2014 and 2015 for the basketball and football jobs, respectively. Those appeared to be nepotistic hires.
You're naive if you think race had absolutely nothing to do with this particular hire. There's no way a white guy (who's not an alum) with this guy's resume would have gotten the job. No f***ing way.
